Normal sleep and dreams have been well depicted in the arts and literature for many years.  Shakespeare and Coleridge discussed both good and poor sleep, paintings by Picasso and Dali used dreams and sleep as subject matter, Brahms' Lullaby remains well known, and Tchaikovsky's ballet (The Sleeping Beauty) have all become part of our culture.  Poor sleep can be associated with numerous problems and even make others seem worse.

Welcome to my website!  I am a licensed psychologist and Diplomate, American Board of Sleep Medicine, and am experienced in evaluating and treating a variety of problems, including marital problems, depression, insomnia, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, sleep apnea, personality disorders, and other conditions .  I've also worked with people considering bariatric (weight loss) surgery and others with medical and neurological conditions.  As a caring psychologist one goal is to help you make some positive changes with your life.
